Frequently Asked Questions
Therapy is a collaborative process where you work with a trained professional to explore thoughts, feelings and behaviours. Expect a safe, confidential and non-judgmental space to feel heard, gain self-awareness, develop coping skills, improve communication and work toward your goals.
The timeframe varies depending on the person and concerns being addressed. Some people experience improvements within weeks while others may take several months. Consistency, session frequency and the fit between client and therapist can influence progress.
Frequency is decided collaboratively with your therapist. Weekly, bi-weekly and monthly sessions are common. Initial sessions are usually more frequent and can be spaced out as progress is made.
Mosaic Minds does not provide crisis counselling or emergency support outside scheduled sessions. In a crisis, contact local emergency services, go to your nearest hospital, call a crisis hotline and involve someone you trust.
Wait time depends on therapist availability and current demand. Please book at least 48 hours in advance along with payment.
Please cancel or reschedule at least 48 hours before the appointment. Earlier cancellations receive a full refund; later cancellations are charged the session fee. The therapist waits up to 15 minutes after the scheduled start time.
UPI and debit card transactions are accepted. International payment options are discussed directly with the respective client.
